Fairfield helps its Katrina displaced customers
When some of its customers fled Hurricane Katrina, Fairfield Resorts pulled out all the stops to make life easier for the ones who landed in Nashville. Led by resort manager Dana Hartle, who once "lost everything" in a tornado, the resort's staff collected money, clothes and toys, prepared hot meals, lined up free admissions to area attractions, and brought in people who could talk to the evacuees about temporary jobs and local schools.
